Visitors to the island are welcome.
Pontoon Charges: If using your own boat and landing on the pontoon then we have a landing charge of £10 per small boat, with prices on request for multiple landings/cruise boats/commercial use etc. This money goes directly towards maintenance of the pontoon and allows us to keep it open for easier access to the island, so all donations are greatly appreciated. You can make a payment via BACS to “Isle Martin Trust”, Account no: 00118677
Sort code: 832801. By cheque to Isle Martin Trust, 28 Argyle Street, Ullapool, IV26 2UB.
Summer Ferry: The summer schedule is planned to start at the end of June with a, weather dependent, ferry every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but please contact us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to visit out with these dates or for more information. Days marked in yellow as “Booked” just means we have a scheduled group booking and the ferry will also run for casual visitors. The ferry is for foot passengers only. The boat will run from the Isle Martin jetty at Ardmair every Friday, Saturday and Sunday till mid September, the first boat will be at 11.00am, then 11.30am. The first boat back will be at 2.30pm and the second at 3pm. Baby, child and adult lifejackets are provided. Parking is tight so please park sensibly to allow as many cars as possible to fit without blocking anyone in. We are running this service to raise funds for pontoon repairs so please consider giving generously so that we can keep this community owned island as accessible as possible to all.
Stay: There are four buildings on the island providing very basic bothy style accommodation, The Croft House suitable for small bookings, The Mill House for larger. There is also the Macleod House and the Boa house which are both two bedroom family houses. The cost of house rental includes 1 return journey in the ferry. The boat can carry 7 passengers.
