The Isle Martin Trust is inviting applications for new volunteer Board Members and we’d love to hear from you.
As a volunteer Trust Board member (Director), you’ll help guide the future of our community-owned island, supporting the Trust’s existing aims and objectives as well as the next stage of our plans for Isle Martin.
We’re especially keen to hear from people who have or would like to gain experience, interest or skills in areas such as:
-
Community land ownership
-
Cultural and natural heritage, and sustainability
-
Community empowerment, education and training
-
Administration
-
Fundraising
-
Teamworking
You don’t need to be an expert in everything enthusiasm, commitment and a willingness to work together are just as important.
If this sounds like you, please get in touch at info@islemartin.org. We’ll send you more information, answer any questions, and explain the application process.
You’re also very welcome to come along to our AGM on Tuesday 24th February at Ullapool Village Hall. After the main AGM business, there’ll be time for an informal chat, so it’s a great chance to meet us and find out more. We’re a friendly bunch, and being involved is genuinely good fun as well as rewarding.
Please do consider getting involved your support helps keep Isle Martin thriving for the community.
Thank you.
